Back in Pittsburgh!

so annaly's stuck in newark waiting for her flight. i just had pho for lunch and went grocery shopping. xiao's in DC. wow i know what everyone's doing right at this moment. i just need to finish up my japanese paper then i should be done with work. i'm gonna make rice and beans for dinner today. we kinda miss the puertorican cuisine already. i'll show you what i ate in PR:

so that's the food we had in puerto rico. i had a lot of rice and beans. mofongo was good too. oh, it's basically mashed plantains. i'm not a huge plantain fan but when it was mashed with garlic and stuff, it was really good!

New Jersey reporting!!! I'm going down to DC tomorrow morning. Sadly, I don't have great goodies to get you all from here, but I'll definitely get you guys goodies from Australia!!! AND PEI (Jay, you really should come!!!) Anna, I'm so sorry I've been MIA on that, my Australia trip took up a lot of my attention, but now that I'm basically set, its time to plan this PEI trip out.

All I've been doing after all my appointments has been shopping. I bought two dresses for various things, including our banquet. I should do my taxes too.

AND another piece of news - I'm going to be living with Lisa Hsieh. Well, our plans are to. My friend that I thought I was going to live re-evaluated her life and decided not to move down to DC. Saddness.

Current itinerary for the summer:

5.22-5.31, LA for 5 days, San Fran for the rest
5.31-6.22, Australia, Melbourne and Sydney
6.23-7.8, Jersey
7.8-7.15, PEI
(I think?) then DC!

Update from San Juan, PR

so the weather's really nice here. it's actually pretty hot. i need a lot of sunblock on my face to prevent it from growing more freckles. i did get a little tanned but not really. i just burned myself a little on the back. i wear sleeveless tops! we also eat a lot of good puerto rican food. their staple food: rice and beans. i really like it. but heard beans make you fart a lot. nan farted a couple times in public XD tomorrow, we're going to the beach again. i might try jet skiing although it's like $70 per half an hour. we'll see.

ahhh im so excited about going to korea. im leaving to paris soon and i should be working on a stupid paper. ugh so tired. anyways, i think i'll get my mom to bok the korea ticket now. and then we can organize the japanese tickets later. jay, when do you leave?!
